Ultimately, those tiny little pins (reference points) are only aiming aids – it’s up to the shooter to “set” them via trial-and-error testing, estimating distances based on their experience.
Ukrainian-based company Archer has developed a thermal imaging sight for the T-64 main battle tank. The improved sight has passed defining tests and is expected to be placed into service.
Arrowheads
Arrowheads can be made from flint, obsidian, bone, horn, and metal. They can also have grooves and clan symbols, which were important for identifying members of the tribe. Arrowheads were used to kill game by penetrating the body with a sharp point and cutting blood vessels, thus killing it faster.
